My special guest is Andrew McMurtrie. Andy is a commercially focused analytics leader, who has built and led analytics and data science teams from scratch in two FTSE 100 companies over the last six years. His focus is on aligning commercial strategies to analytics strategy and programmes, and is currently playing a leading role in the commercial team at Green Flag Rescue business, part of Direct Line Group. In this role, he is leading the development of a data and analytics capability to revolutionise data-led customer experience in the industry.
Prior to Direct Line Group, Andy spent three years at Royal Mail Group, leading their first ever Data Science team, and before that, seven years at Accenture in a variety of business, technology and data consulting roles. He brings a highly consultative and commercial approach to analytics initiatives.
